Successful Ageing Quiz Results

Here are the percentage results of the quiz that many of you completed.

QUIZ RESULTS

I am pleased to report that none of Quiz respondents were pursuing a lifestyle below the Usual/Typical Ageing Curve – Well Done!
On average approximately 70% of Australians are pursuing this Usual Ageing Curve, by interpolation you are all “Quiz Kids” in the top 30%!

Also, 73% of participants were between the Optimistic and Successful Ageing Curves, which are good to great scores. As there are so many in this group, I have differentiated the scores into two categories, the top tier and the second tier. There were 17%, in the top tier, with scores between 18-20, closest to Successful Ageing Curve trajectory, these scores are excellent. There were 56% in the second tier with scores between 15-17, just below the top tier, these scores are very good.

Finally, there are 28% between the Usual and Optimistic Ageing Curves with scores between 11-14. Depending on your score you are either close to the Optimistic or close to the Usual Ageing Curve. If it is the former that is acceptable, if you are close to the Usual Ageing Curve, it is like the largest room in my house, there is room for improvement. I hasten to add that these scores are indicative only, so don’t go out and buy a plot in the local cemetery as one respondent suggested. They are meant to be a guide and to assist, feel free to totally ignore them.

The purpose of the exercise is to encourage you to increase your score by the end of November and get as close to the Successful Ageing Curve as you can.

Good luck with your mission.
